Pork Adobo - Pinoy Food

You are not a Filipino if you don't know this Pinoy food. Pork adobo is one of the most popular food here in the Philippines. Not only within the country. Many Pinoy business owners of restaurants around the world are serving this very delicious Pinoy food Pork Adobo. I remember when I was watching the television last year, Maybe it's in channel two ABS CBN. One of the topic is this Pinoy food adobo which is a best seller in abroad. I don't know exactly the country but I think that is in the United States Of America.

See! That news is just a proof that Filipino Style foods are also the best not only in the Philippines, but also in abroad. Aside for its deliciousness, this recipe is also very easy to prepare. Look at the recipe below. The ingredients are simple as well as the procedure. What are you waiting for? "Let's eat na!"

Ingredients:
1 kilo pork (I use liempo or pork belly for my adobo)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoon sugar
10 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 bay leaves
freshly ground black pepper

Procedure:
1. Combine all ingredients in a casserole pan and marinate for at least 30 minutes. Make sure that all the meat is covered with the marinade.
2. Put the pan over high heat until it boils.
3. Lower the heat and let it gently simmer until pork is tender, stirring occasionally.
4. If you prefer your adobo dry, remove excess sauce when the meat is already tender, and continue cooking the adobo until it dries up.
