Beef Adobo - Free Filipino Recipe by Fabulously 40

Adobo is a popular common dish here in the Philippines, thus a national dish among us Filipinos. The typical adobo is made from pork or chicken or a combination of both, it is cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic, dried bay leaf, and black pepper. This ADOBONG BAKA SA GATA is a variation of the traditional adobo, and for me its more tastier and yummy. How to cook this?
INGREDIENTS:
1 kg. karneng baka (beef)
1 cup thick coconut milk
1/2 cup vinegar
2 cups thin coconut milk
paminta
2 gloves garlic, crushed
dinukdok nga stem sa tanglad hiniwa (or dried bay leaf)
salt to taste

cooking procedures:
1. Cut beef into desired sizes, and place in a pot.
2. Add the thin coconut milk, garlic, peppercorns, bay leaf, vinegar and salt to taste.
3. Simmer until the beef is tender enough to bite and chew.
4. Add the thick coconut milk, and boil for another 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot.
