Pork Guisantes – Pinoy Food Recipe

Anyway, this Pinoy food recipe is awesome. By just looking on the ingredients, I can probably say that it is. In this Pinoy food recipe, lean pork was used as the main ingredient. I definitely choose lean pork than fatty ones because I’m watching my cholesterol level. If you’re like me, then you should have this Pinoy food recipe because it’s good. Ingredients
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 1/2 lb lean pork, sliced in small pieces
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp patis
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 bay leaf
• 3 oz. tomato paste
• 1 pkg (6 oz) frozen peas
• 1 can (3-4 oz) pimientos, sliced
• Salt to taste

Directions
Heat oil in large skillet. Saute garlic, onions and pork until browned. Add soy sauce, patis, water and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until pork is tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add tomato paste, peas and pimientos. Simmer for 5 more minutes. Salt to taste.
